David leads global content operations for WARC, part of the Ascential Group. He joined WARC in 2010 and has built the content offering into the world’s leading information source on marketing effectiveness across Strategy, Creative, Media and Digital Commerce. David has been writing about media and marketing for nearly two decades, including two years in Hong Kong as Managing Editor of Haymarket’s Media magazine (now Campaign Asia).
Ben Tyson is considered a leading light in social media, having championed the concept of social-first marketing for over a decade. While CEO of Born Social, the company has grown from five to 150 during his tenure, with an expanding agency roster which includes Asda, Barclays, Ford, Guinness, Mars and Primark. Under his leadership, the company has also earned major accolades, including the prestigious Marketing Society Agency of the Year award and Campaign Digital Innovation Agency of the Year title in 2023.
Gráinne Wafer is Global Category Director Beer, Vodka, Liqueurs and Convenience and is accountable for leading Diageo’s top global brands and is a member of both the Diageo Global Marketing and Senior Management teams.
Most recently, as Global Brand Director of Guinness, she spearheaded a new strategy and growth agenda for the brand reshaping the marketing model to be community led, resulting in unprecedented double-digit growth for the Guinness brand globally.
David is a Senior Strategist within the Advisory team at Contagious. He began his career at London creative advertising agency VCCP, before enjoying subsequent freelance stints at the likes of Droga5, Engine and Havas.
He has previously appeared on stage at Most Contagious, at the IAB Engage conference, and at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
